The website offers a large resource library, including the TraQ Technical Resource Manual and Competency Companion; unique interactive case studies of interest to medical technologists, nurses, and physicians; clearinghouses on transfusion-transmitted diseases and current transfusion literature; regulatory information; and the most comprehensive collection of transfusion-related international and industry news on the Internet.

Ontario Transfusion Coordinators (ONTraC) – A Provincial Blood Conservation Program
The Ontario Transfusion Coordinators (ONTraC) Program is a Provincial Blood Conservation Program that attempts to enhance transfusion practice by promoting alternatives to allogeneic transfusion in surgical patients, improving patient care and well-being in a cost-effective manner. The ONTraC program is a unique initiative supported by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to implement a peri-operative blood conservation program in 25 hospitals throughout Ontario. The institutions, large and small, are a combination of teaching and community hospitals.
