St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee, WI - This position is responsible for implementation and coordination of the Blood Management Program. The goal of the Blood Management Program is to develop, implement and sustain practices in transfusion medicine to ensure appropriate use of blood and blood components. The individual in this position is responsible for the generation and analysis of quality and performance improvement data for the Blood Management Program. Coordinates, schedules, and manages peer review process for transfusions and perioperative blood collection and administration services. Coordinates information assembly including data collection, trending, and report development of AABB, CAP, Joint Commission and FDA required indicators, other clinical outcome measurements and data to organize information for performance improvement decision-making.
