What Hemodilution bags are the best to use? Heparin or CPDA-1 and who makes them?

There are no specific heparin bags. Hemodilution should be done with donor bags containing ACD or CPDA. Teruflex bags - 450 mLs containing 63 mLs of citrate (Terumo Corporation, Tokyo, Japan) are suitable for ANH. If heparin was used, upon re-administration, the patient would receive a bolus of heparin. The advantage of citrate as an anticoagulant is that it is rapidly metabolized by the liver.
