Program and Concepts Proposal
If you have an idea for a project that you would like the Society for the Advancement of Blood Management® (SABM®) to consider, please complete the Program and Concepts Proposal Form. Print out the form, complete it and either mail or fax it to SABM:
2575 East Camelback Road
Suite 450 Phoenix, AZ 85016
Fax: 877-944-2272
The following criteria should be considered when completing and submitting a proposal. Submitted proposals will be reviewed by the appropriate committee and then sent to the Board of Directors for their approval. Please note that committees meet bi-monthly and the Board of Directors meet quarterly. Members can view the committee and Board meeting schedules on the website under Members Only/Committees then by clicking on a committee or the Board of Director icons.
- Is the project aligned with the SABM's strategic plan?
- Does the project meet an unmet need?
- Is this project being done anywhere else or available elsewhere?
- If yes, is the Society equally or better positioned than other organizations to handle this project?
- Is there enough of a demand/need that the Society could/should take on the project?
- Is the outcome, Return on Investment (ROI), worthwhile/acceptable?
If it is determined that the proposed project meets the above criteria, the following additional information will be requested and reviewed by the Board before final Board approval is given:
- Detailed Budget
- Detailed Description
- Identification of measurement of outcomes/critical success factors
