The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is an approximate 10 to 15-minute drive from the hotel. The Isla Grande Airport (SIG) is minutes from the hotel.

Ground Transportation
By Taxi – The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is an approximate 10 to 15-minute drive from the hotel. The taxi fare for transportation to the hotel is between $15 and $20 USD. Smaller airlines serving the Caribbean region often fly into Isla Grande Airport (SIG). The airport is minutes from the hotel; taxi fares are $10 to $15 USD.
Currency
Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the U.S. and uses the dollar. The US dollar is often referred to as the "peso."
Passports and Visas
Passports and visas are not necessary for United States citizens, which mean that US citizens can travel freely in and out of the island without going through immigration or customs. US citizens only need to have some form of official government issued picture identification to enter Puerto Rico such as a current driver's license or a photo-identification card issued to non-drivers by a state's motor vehicles department.
Citizens of other countries have the same requirements as for entering the USA. Potential visitors must first obtain a visa; a non-immigrant visa for temporary stay. The 90-day "visitor" visa is a non-immigrant visa to enter the United States temporarily.

Tipping
Tipping in Puerto Rico follows the lead of the U.S.; travelers should remember to tip in Puerto Rico. Many restaurants include a 10% to 15% service charge in the total cost of the meal. If you do leave a tip, consider 15% to 20% for your server and 10% for bartenders.
