Education Credits

Accreditation/ Credit Designation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Society for the Advancement of Blood Management. The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physicians
The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12.25 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.

Allied Heath
The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12.25 contact hours of continuing education for allied health professionals.

Perfusionists
SABM is approved by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) to provide continuing education units for perfusionists. The ABCP assigned a maximum of 15.9 Category 1 CEU credits for this activity.
