SABM Annual Meeting Information

The SABM Annual Meeting provides a scientific forum for the presentation of data:

  • Promoting better use of blood products,
  • Optimizing transfusion practices,
  • Comparing and contrasting the impact of new technologies on blood safety,
  • Introducing new and reviewing old pharmacological and nonpharmacological therapeutic options for blood conservation, and
  • Implementing formal blood management approaches.

The scientific program is comprised of plenary addresses, workshops, problem-based learning discussions, a poster session and exhibits.
