SABM Annual Meeting Information
The SABM Annual Meeting provides a scientific forum for the presentation of data:
- Promoting better use of blood products,
- Optimizing transfusion practices,
- Comparing and contrasting the impact of new technologies on blood safety,
- Introducing new and reviewing old pharmacological and nonpharmacological therapeutic options for blood conservation, and
- Implementing formal blood management approaches.
The scientific program is comprised of plenary addresses, workshops, problem-based learning discussions, a poster session and exhibits.
