SABM® Institution Affiliate*
SABM offers several affiliate categories for institutions to choose from:
- Healthcare Affiliates (e.g., hospitals and blood management programs)
- Corporate Affiliates (e.g., pharmaceutical, device, or consulting companies; and government or other similar agencies)
- Private Practice Group Affiliates (e.g., OB/GYN, Anesthesiology, Perfusion, and Family Practice groups)
Each of the categories contain benefits based on the fee level chosen. To view each category's benefits, fee structure and to complete an application, click on one of the categories above.
If you do not wish to become an Institution Affiliate, but have a Blood Management Program (BMP), you can advertise your program in the Blood Management Program database on the SABM® website by clicking here.
Healthcare Affiliate (e.g., hospitals and blood management programs)
Fee
Fees are based on the number of beds at each hospital. Participation is on a yearly basis, January 1 to December 31. Fees are prorated on applications received between April 1 and December 31. Click here to view the prorated rates.
| 250 or less beds | $1,500 annually |
| 251 to 500 beds | $2,500 annually |
| > 500 beds | $3,500 annually |
| Hospital Systems | Each hospital system, defined as having 3 or more hospitals in their system, would pay dues at the "250 or less beds" rate for each hospital within their system. For example: 3 hospitals @ $1,500 = $4,500 annually. |

Blood Management Program
Listing in the Online Blood Management Program Database which includes:
- Contact information, logo and a link with priority listing
Note: A list of minimum requirements will need to be met to confirm the existence of a blood management program. This review will be done by the SABM Membership Committee.
Program/Events related to Blood Management/Conservation education listed on the SABM website (in calendar section and broadcast emails)
15% Discount Patient Information brochures
* Institutions do not have voting rights, only the individual member, if applicable to their membership category. Individual Memberships and Annual Meeting registrations not used do not carry over to the next year and are forfeited.
