Dr. Patricia Locantore-Ford is a graduate of Barry University and received her M.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She trained in hematology oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. She is a practicing medical oncologist/hematologist at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia where she is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is the Director of the Center for Bloodless Medicine and Surgery, the Director of the Peripheral Stem Cell Program and the Co-Director of the GYN Oncology Program at Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Locantore-Ford's areas of interest also include alternatives to blood transfusions, hematologic complications of pregnancy and autologous transplants for Lymphoma and Myeloma. Dr. Locantore-Ford has also performed the most bloodless transplants in the world.
