Activities

SABM is involved with many activities that continue to advance our mission such as:

• An Annual Meeting; SABM’s primary educational event, focusing on the objective to educate in blood management.

• Coordinating forums and panel meetings on selected topics in blood management.

• Collaborating with other organizations such as blood bank associations, universities, health systems and medical specialty associations.

• A website with immediate access to critical information regarding transfusion medicine and blood management.

• A Speakers Bureau to connect institutions interested in learning about blood management, with available professionals that have the knowledge to educate on the topic.

• A member newsletter to keep members abreast of SABM activities and updates in the field of blood management.

• Exhibiting to create awareness of SABM and to promote its mission and goals.
